Recognized for his expertise in the mid and high-rise mixed use markets, Mr. Mitchell is one of the most sought after Construction Executives in Urban Development and Construction Management of Mid and High-rise Condominiums, Hospitality, Commercial Retail and Senior Living. He regularly advises and assists many of the top Regional and National Homebuilders, Land Developers, General Contractors and Real Estate Equity Firms. Mr. Mitchell brings an unparalleled record of accomplishment and experience, having been involved in a number of key Urban Mixed-Use Development projects throughout the United States.

Mr. Mitchell maintains a very active Construction and Development Consulting Practice. His experience and accomplishments in the Construction Industry have qualified him as one of the pre-eminent expert witnesses and litigation support authorities in the United States. Assisting either Plaintiff or Defendant, Mr. Mitchell has represented numerous Design Professionals, Contractors, Subcontractors, Developers, Homeowners and Homeowner Groups and has provided expert testimony in matters relating to Defects, Construction Claims and Contract Disputes, Real Estate and Land Development issues as well as other construction and development related matters. Mr. Mitchell acts as Mediator and Facilitator for complex construction related issues and defect matters. Mr. Mitchell is a past member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the International Association for the Advancement of Cost Estimating (AACE), The Construction Institute (CI) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Mr. Mitchell is invited regularly to speak at local, regional and national venues on the subjects of Land Development, Construction, Construction Defects, Construction Claims and Claims Analysis and Project Management.
